Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated's Systems Control division is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead 20-30 IBEW employees across three shifts. You will supervise, train, and coach the team; ensure safety, quality, and on-time production; and administer attendance records in line with the IBEW contract.

You will review area performance daily, drive Lean initiatives and Rapid Improvement Events, schedule priorities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a unionized, manufacturing environment with 2 years in a leadership role.
• Ability to follow blueprints and work instructions precisely.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of coaching and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, training, and coaching of 20-30 IBEW employees.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality system procedures.
• Identify and respond to corrective actions as required.
• Lead daily crew meetings to review area performance and training topics.
• Assist with staffing, interviewing, hiring and training of new employees.
• Verify production transactions and approve attendance records.
• Administer IBEW contract and company values.
• Drive lean improvements and Rapid Improvement Events annually.
• Schedule working hours, priorities, and maintain 5-S standards.
• Communicate with shifts and cross-functional teams as needed.
