Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 3rd shift team in a high‑volume machine shop. You will plan, assign work, and drive safety, quality and productivity while controlling costs.

You will collaborate with the 1st shift supervisor on scheduling and process improvements, maintain attendance records and ensure training. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and several years in manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in a machine shop environment required.
• Knowledge of production scheduling.
• Experience with decisions concerning resource and production requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3rd shift team focused on daily operations through safety, quality, service and productivity.
• Plan and assign work; communicate policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching and development; resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale; pursue continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with the first shift supervisor on planning and process implementation.
• Enter and maintain attendance and timekeeping; ensure workforce is trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
