Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Kansas City is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead an hourly team on the shop floor. You will align daily execution with strategic goals, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and foster a culture of accountability.

You’ll use data to reduce downtime, coach teams, and partner with union and management to continuously improve productivity and process safety. A bachelor’s degree and 3–7+ years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or related experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team on the production floor to meet safety, quality and output targets.
• Champion safety, enforce regulations, and foster a vigilant workplace culture.
• Drive operational excellence, own team performance and celebrate successes.
