Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at its Minden, LA facility.

You will oversee hourly production staff, ensure safety, training, and adherence to schedules and quality standards, and foster a safe, efficient, and continuously improving environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience and strong leadership skills, with ability to obtain and maintain state/federal explosives licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to develop others.
• Proven ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and execute production activities.
• Willingness to operate production equipment and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations to meet KPIs and schedules.
• Enforce safety, SOPs, PPE, and material handling requirements.
• Provide hands-on training and daily coaching on processes and equipment.
• Ensure tools, PPE, and equipment are available for safe work.
• Monitor real-time production, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to Plant Superintendent.
• Lead shift-level communication on daily expectations and changes to work instructions.
• Conduct performance reviews and promote cross-training for a flexible workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement and 5S/kaizen initiatives; support root-cause investigations.
