Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc. is seeking a salary-exempt Production Supervisor to lead a front-line team in on-site operations. You will oversee product processing, packaging, and storage, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with FDA, USDA, and company policies.

You will schedule work, monitor attendance, and manage continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN concepts to optimize throughput, yield, and cost while fostering teamwork and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years related work experience, with at least 1 year in a leading role
• Must read and write English
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control practices
• Familiar with computers and MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of front-line employees to meet daily production goals.
• Schedules, tracks attendance, and approves time off for direct reports.
• Maintains safety, teamwork, and a clean, compliant work environment.
• Monitors throughput, yield, and line speeds to ensure efficiency and quality.
