Job summary

Materion Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing department, overseeing processes, equipment, and personnel to meet quality and production targets on each shift.

You will supervise production employees, drive training and performance management, monitor throughput, and coordinate with supply chain to align weekly capacity with available resources. Strong English communication and Lean know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline required.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing using English.
• Lean methodologies knowledge and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of production employees, including hiring, motivating, training and performance management.
• Monitors production levels and reports delays to managers; estimates time to resume when delays occur.
• Ensures policies, rules, regulations and procedures are followed in all areas of production.
• Maintains the schedule by coordinating movement of parts through production with supply chain to set weekly capacity based on equipment, manpower, and raw materials.
