Job summary

Adient Riverside, MO is seeking a Production Supervisor to help run the assigned production department efficiently and profitably by optimizing manpower, materials, equipment and space while meeting quality standards.

You will supervise a team, train staff, ensure safety, and coordinate with maintenance and engineering to achieve cost-effective production against the schedule. Excellent English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree with 1+ year experience, or 2-year degree with 6+ years.
• Excellent English communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise, train and motivate a multi-cultural team.
• Willing to work C crew hours (Fri & Sat 6:00am–4:30pm; Sun & Mon 6:00pm–4:30am)

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team and ensure safe, efficient manual and machine operations.
• Orient and train team members in safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and prepare for audits and plant visits.
• Evaluate probationary staff on attendance, performance, and attitude.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance for repairs and improvements.
