Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Farmington, MN. The role oversees safety-compliant production, staffing, and performance, with emphasis on meeting schedules and quality standards.

Requires 5+ years in manufacturing or logistics, strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position reports to the Director of Operations and involves on-site work with exposure to manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience or Associate degree with 7+ years relevant experience or 9+ years relevant experience
• Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or logistics/distribution environment
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong leadership and ability to support divisional objectives
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions
• Recognize and solve practical problems
• Communicate effectively one-on-one and to groups
• Calculate pay changes, proportions, and product dimensions
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Responsabilités

• Monitor employee performance to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Assign and optimize work schedules to maximize manpower, machines, and equipment
• Define production standards and monitor performance of personnel
• Observe operations to ensure proper use of equipment
• Ensure quality checks and QA processes for high-quality output
• Promote continuous productivity improvements and solicit suggestions
• Administer and support company policies consistently
• Train new employees on safety policies and divisional activities
• Prepare daily timesheets, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports
• Perform other duties as required/assigned
