Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of technicians on the manufacturing floor in Santa Ana, CA. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality products for strategic customers while maintaining safety and lean production practices.

You will manage daily operations, coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement. Strong hands‑on experience on the production floor and a passion for developing staff are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing or supervising in a high volume production environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key manufacturing fundamentals.
• Full understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production), LEAN manufacturing principals, and change management (ECOs).
• Can interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, equipment specs, electrical schematics, etc.).
• Willing to work on hardware hands on as needed by production.
• Experience being hands-on and on the production floor with process and equipment troubleshooting.
• Passion for employee development and training of new hires and veteran staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage technician staff in production and delivery of Anduril products through testing and delivery.
• Set priorities and direct daily operations; issue and complete work orders on the floor.
• Ensure operators follow safety procedures and standard work; drive safety improvements.
• Prioritize work activities to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Complete transactions in production systems (NetSuite / JIRA).
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in each work area.
• Provide weekly progress, blockers, risks, and needs reports.
• Support cross-functional groups within Anduril.
• Lead daily cross-functional communications with engineering, technicians, supply chain, logistics, and quality.
• Work on the line and assist training of new operators.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and cross-training.
• Execute production plans with urgency and attention to detail.
• Coach and mentor up to 30 production associates on shift.
• Maintain standardized manufacturing instructions and control plans.
• Support root-cause investigation and corrective actions.
• Ensure quality standards throughout production and no defects from station to team area.
• Generate daily pass-downs and quality reports for engineering and operations.
