Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Lead, Production Application Engineering to guide a small team delivering analytics-enabled manufacturing solutions. You’ll drive day-to-day decision support for product lines and new developments with strong technical and analytical skills applied to real-world outcomes.

You will engage stakeholders, implement productivity improvements, and lead kaizen initiatives to optimize production, capacity planning, and workforce alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in manufacturing strategy/analysis with tangible results.
• 2+ years of direct team management or cross-functional project work.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools and analytics.
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers to develop new solutions and maintain existing ones.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional stakeholders for success.
• Develop and implement analytics-driven manufacturing solutions to improve productivity and quality.
• Analyze production data, metrics, and processes to identify improvements.
• Align efforts with business objectives across teams.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in analytics and manufacturing.
• Document analytics strategies for continuous improvement.
• Lead kaizen, lean, or six sigma initiatives to optimize production.
• Contribute to capacity planning and workforce management for scalability.
• Implement and refine manufacturing KPIs to drive accountability.
• Support new product development from a manufacturing perspective.
