Job summary

Cartridge Actuated Devices in Fairfield, NJ, seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to assist the Production Manager by implementing standardized processes and leading manufacturing teams.

You will train personnel, supervise operations, maintain production records, and help meet schedules while upholding safety, ISO9001:2000 guidelines, and CUI/NIST 800-171 requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year relevant production experience.
• Must pass ATF background check.
• Preferred: 5+ years manufacturing with minimum 2 years supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in implementing and maintaining standardized processes for CAD product production.
• Directs manufacturing personnel to meet safety measures and production schedules.
• Provide training to production personnel on various tasks.
• Provide hands-on supervision and production assistance when required.
• Maintain production records and production schedule.
• Adhere to all safety practices and procedures.
• Coordinate release of materials to jobs to meet production schedules.
• Create weekly schedules and production personnel shifts.
• Act as backup to Production Manager for meetings and performance reports.
• Record data on material and labor usage and track attendance.
• Identify inefficiencies and work with engineering and quality to implement changes.
• Mentor production personnel and foster a positive work environment.
• Follow CAD policies, ISO9001:2000 requirements and CUI/NIST 800-171 training.
