Scotbilt Homes, a division of Champion Home Builders, Inc. of Millen, GA, seeks a full-time Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in producing factory-built housing. The role involves coordinating workers, interpreting blueprints, scheduling production, and enforcing safety standards.

Key responsibilities include optimizing production methods, mentoring staff, and maintaining accurate production records while driving quality and efficiency across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to plan and schedule effectively to meet production goals.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and decision-making.
• Team-oriented with good communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers in the manufacturing plant.
• Interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and requirements.
• Study production schedules and assign staff to meet deadlines.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Adjust work procedures to meet production goals and improve efficiency.
• Recommend methods to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment use.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving them.
• Initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve targets.
• Calculate time card totals and maintain production records.
• Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
• Set up machines and equipment.
