Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a first shift Production Supervisor in Sumner, WA. This role oversees daily production activities to meet volume, cost, and quality targets, coordinating schedules and staffing to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities include leading a production team, liaising with logistics, engineering, and management, interpreting blueprints and safety guidelines, and driving continuous improvement with 5S and lean practices.

Qualifications

Two years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
Lean manufacturing experience and Kaizen events preferred.
ERP experience preferred.
Strong manufacturing knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead production team daily activities and assign duties.
Coordinate production with internal and external stakeholders including logistics, engineering, and management.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and safety guidelines to workers.
Promote flow and communication to internal and external customers.
Lead regular team communications on performance, waste reduction and improvement.
Investigate issues and implement solutions, using 5S tools to reduce variation.
Partner with quality and engineering to prevent recurrence.
Schedule and organize work departments and maintain production records.
