Saab, Inc. is establishing a manufacturing operation in Grayling, MI and seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate munitions assembly on-site. You will bridge manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, facilities, safety, and quality teams, driving safety, quality, and productivity.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to Saab’s 6S program, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration across departments to achieve KPIs and business objectives.

Formación

• Five years of experience in a munitions manufacturing environment preferred.
• Five years of supervisory or leadership experience in production.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with MES/ERP systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and lead daily munitions assembly operations to meet schedules, quality, and safety.
• Communicate daily production objectives and performance expectations to the team.
• Monitor production activities and report operational performance to management.
• Ensure efficient operation of manufacturing processes and optimize productivity.
• Lead and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new production staff.
• Ensure products meet customer and company quality standards.
