Job summary

Saabolina? Saab is seeking an experienced manufacturing lead in Indiana to guide teams, drive daily production, and mentor staff.

You will do hands-on assembly most of the day while maintaining high quality and safety standards; your leadership will shape teamwork and continuous improvement efforts in a regulated environment. You will promote 6S, track KPIs, and participate in interviews and training, supporting the Saab culture of trust, drive, expertise, and support in a dynamic, fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of structural/component assembly or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of front-line people leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily guidance to team members and communicates production goals.
• Performs hands-on production work ~80% of the time with quality emphasis.
• Champions KPIs: safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and innovation.
• Promotes 6S standards and a safe, clean work environment.
• Mentors and trains new employees to foster teamwork and growth.
• Supports continuous improvement and leads GEMBA presentations.
• Assists with staffing coverage to meet daily production goals.
• Facilitates team meetings and participates in panel interviews.
