Job summary

Cenveo Worldwide Limited is hiring a Production Supervisor for its Jersey City, NJ manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The role requires strong leadership to ensure safety, quality and efficiency across the shift, with responsibility for about 45 direct reports and regular KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience leading/developing teams to improve workflow and performance.
• Envelope-manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant production software.
• Strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of production processes with a firm commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and enforce safety policies; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Execute and communicate production plans; monitor staffing, equipment needs, and production schedules; track KPIs.
• Monitor defect rates; ensure adherence to standard work; perform hourly quality checks and reporting.
• Provide leadership in continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing concepts; reduce scrap and rework.
• Manage and develop production personnel through coaching, evaluations, and identification of future leaders.
