Job summary

MATTR in Katy, Texas is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards at the Katy facility. You will drive workforce effectiveness and operational performance to meet production and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/High school diploma with university degree preferred.
• Six Sigma training is an asset and helps implement process improvements.
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement certification is a plus.
• Experience with production management, resource allocation, KPI management, safety leadership, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production and processing operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Develop production schedules, manage staffing levels, and allocate resources for safe operations.
• Provide coaching and development to production employees and supervisors while reinforcing accountability.
• Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and production activity; address constraints.
• Partner with process engineering to improve efficiency, throughput, and productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and downtime.
