Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Planner and Scheduler in Maryland to manage production schedules and material flow within a Manufacturing Cell. You will coordinate with OPM and Cell Management to meet delivery requirements and optimize shop load.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with experience or a master’s with less experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and project planning capabilities. Experience with SAP is preferred; benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 1 or more years of relevant experience.
Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Project management or planning experience

Responsibilities

Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements.
Advises management of status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests.
Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.
