Clayton Homes in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing in our door manufacturing facility. You will drive safe, efficient production, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain quality standards across departments.

The role emphasizes leadership of supervisors and teams, continuous improvement via Lean, and collaboration with Purchasing, Safety, Engineering, and Quality to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or production management experience.
• Experience supervising production teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling and Lean/continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily production activities to meet demand.
• Develop schedules based on orders, material, and capacity.
• Coach and develop supervisors and team members.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Shipping.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
