Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Production Manager to supervise all phases of the homebuilding process, coordinating with the Design and Operations teams to meet timelines and quality targets. You will lead multiple departments, drive Lean improvements, and develop staff through coaching and mentoring.

The role requires strong planning, exceptional interpersonal skills, and experience in construction or manufactured housing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant management experience.
• Experience in manufactured housing or construction strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large teams and foster a culture of accountability.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and HUD building codes.
• Maintain safety as a top priority and enforce safety rules.
• Review production performance and identify training opportunities.
• Direct departments to meet timelines and production priorities.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring for staff development.
