Job summary

Clayton is seeking a qualified production supervisor to lead manufacturing teams in our housing operations. You will drive daily production, uphold quality and safety standards, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet timelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, organization, and strong communication. Prior experience in construction or manufactured housing is preferred, with a focus on continuous process improvement and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant management experience.
• Construction experience preferred; manufactured housing experience desired.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Lead large teams and foster a culture of accountability.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and HUD building codes.
• Maintain safety as a top priority and follow safety rules.
• Review production performance and identify training opportunities.
• Direct department leaders to meet timelines and priorities.
• Apply Lean, 6S, Kaizen or Six Sigma methods to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Other duties as assigned.
