Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Production Process Supervisor to lead compactor installation projects from planning through final inspection. You will oversee installation teams, enforce safety standards, and coordinate equipment, parts, and costs to exceed customer expectations.

The role requires 2+ years in fabrication/maintenance management, familiarity with industrial systems, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in fabrication/maintenance management.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial, fabrication, hydraulic, and electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of compactor installation processes, equipment, tools, and related mechanical or hydraulic systems.
• Formal OSHA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute installation activities per specifications and deadlines.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, scheduling, and performance management for installation staff.
• Manage installation equipment inventory and tooling in compliance with safety requirements.
• Ensure proper use of parts, labor, and expenses; maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct periodic inspections of equipment and vehicles for safety and readiness.
• Support project changes and communicate them effectively within the team.
