Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Recycling Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a multi-shift industrial maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient production. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repair of conveyors and plant equipment, and data tracking across maintenance and inventory systems.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in Welding/Electrical/Maintenance with PLC experience, and be able to obtain required certifications (Crane, Man-Lift, Forklift) on hire.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Welding, Electrical, or Maintenance.
• Previous Management experience.
• Experience with PLC systems and motor control panels.
• Must acquire equipment certifications including Crane Operations, Man-Lift, and Forklift upon hire.
• Willingness to travel between offices and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Industrial Maintenance Operations safely.
• Ensure PPE and Lock-Out/Tag-Out compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians.
• Maintain daily tracking and PM schedules.
• Input data into maintenance and inventory systems.
• Schedule equipment service with internal and external sources.
• Oversee 6-10 employees.
