Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or science with 2+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in a high-tech production or manufacturing environment, preferably with hands-on engineering support.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct people management.
• Ability to communicate production risks, disturbances, quality issues, and recovery plans clearly to cross-functional work centers and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee First Line Support personnel during the assigned shift to ensure resources align to production priorities and safety standards.
• Provide accountable technical support by guiding troubleshooting activities and driving timely resolution of production issues.
• Coordinate shift tasks, prioritize work, and ensure completion according to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Serve as primary shift point of contact for escalation and communication between team members and leadership.
• Monitor shift progress, identify risks early, and take action to maintain workflow and cycle time expectations.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members to improve capability and execution on the floor.
• Escalate structural issues to engineering teams and suggest containment or improvement actions.
• Present daily shift reports and production status to support decision-making and quality improvement.
