Job summary

Celestica Inc. seeks a Production Cell Leader 4 to guide a cell of assemblers and technicians. You will balance staff workload, monitor performance, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.

You will perform manual and automated assembly tasks, soldering, and inspection, while maintaining process knowledge and communicating with internal and external customers to solve production issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Lead a production cell and balance personnel to meet goals.
• Experience with hand soldering, automated equipment, and inspection.
• Knowledge of board assembly process and SMT processing systems.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly equipment.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers.
• Site-defined certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead, balancing personnel and moving products through the cell.
• Monitors performance of cell members and ensures quality output.
• Performs assembly, soldering, test equipment operation, inspection.
• Generates reports on cell performance.
• Maintains knowledge of PCB assembly and SMT processes.
