Job summary

ZipRecruiter, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to own the job seeker profile and apply flow, collaborating across teams to create a seamless experience from click to completed application. You will set KPIs, shape what we ask users, and drive improvements that reduce friction and improve quality.

You will partner with product, matching, trust & safety, engineering, and mobile teams to deliver impact. A strong background in ML-enabled product features and user research is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in product management.
• Shipped products with multiple teams and tradeoffs.
• Strong UI/UX instincts for high-traffic consumer flows.
• Experience shipping ML-powered features such as extraction, ranking, or automation.
• Data-driven problem solving and able to explain the "why" behind numbers.
• Customer-focused with direct user research experience.
• Autonomous and highly motivated to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the job seeker profile and apply flow, from KPIs to individual screens and questions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with employer Product, matching, trust/safety, platform engineering, mobile, messaging, and legal teams.
• Define what we ask job seekers and when, and how we keep a complete, accurate profile.
• Improve conversion from job click to started application and from started to completed.
• Ensure applications reach employer systems and quality standards are met.
• Run experiments and interpret results to improve marketplace health over time.
• Engage with job seekers to understand moments of applying and build trust.
