Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a high-impact Product Leader to own the job seeker profile and the apply flow. You will align cross-functional teams including employer-side groups, trust and safety, platform engineering, and mobile to craft a streamlined, high-quality application experience.

Lead experiments, measure engagement, and ensure data-driven decisions. You’ll speak with job seekers, run research, and push for a marketplace that makes applying fast, accurate, and trustworthy.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership: 7+ years in product management with delivery success.
• Strong stakeholder management with cross-team alignment.
• Broad technical range including UI/UX and API thinking.
• Experience with high-traffic consumer flows and conversions.
• ML/AI features shipped and evaluated before/after launch.
• Deeply analytical, probes the why behind numbers.
• Customer-obsessed with user research and feedback.
• Self-motivated with autonomous impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the job seeker profile and apply flow KPIs from funnel to screens.
• Collaborate with employer product, matching, trust, safety, platform, mobile, and legal teams on roadmap.
• Design and refine what data we collect about job seekers and how it accelerates later steps.
• Reduce friction in applying from click to started and to completed applications.
• Ensure applications reach employer systems and highlight qualified candidates.
• Monitor metrics like starts, completions, profile completeness, and retention.
• Lead experiments to balance short-term gains with long-term health.
• Engage with job seekers to understand expectations and trust factors.
