Waymo, the world’s leader in autonomous driving, seeks a Senior Product Manager to define the DevAI platform vision and transform internal workflows into an AI-first paradigm. You will prioritize investments, guide a high-impact core team, and educate engineers on AI-powered tools across Waymo's stack.

You will own the developer productivity survey, engineering education programs, and data-driven ROI frameworks, partnering with security to design safe integration layers for proprietary data.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLMs in real-world workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define a compelling vision for Waymo's DevAI platform, shaping how autonomous driving software is built by transforming internal workflows into AI-first paradigms.
• Exercise disciplined prioritization to guide a high-impact core team amid a rapidly changing tech landscape.
• Act as primary thought leader on AI-Powered Devtools for Waymo engineers, organizing information and focusing teams on actionable insights.
• Own the developer productivity survey and education programs, aligning them with DevAI strategy.
• Resolve technical and strategic ambiguities, making long-term product decisions for Waymo engineers.
• Set up the organization to grow by simplifying interfaces and processes for AI-Powered Devtools adoption.
• Establish data-driven frameworks (DX Framework, SPACE metrics) to measure ROI of DevAI integration.
• Partner with engineering and security teams to design secure integration layers accessing proprietary data.
