Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior Product Manager to own and launch complex AI/ML powered products for the Waymo Driver simulator and related autonomous driving technology. You will define product vision, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide requirements from concept through deployment in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a BS in CS or engineering, 6+ years of product management experience, and strong communication skills, with experience in foundation models and AI/ML

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related technical field.
• 6+ years of relevant product management experience launching complex technical products.
• Strong technical acumen with experience in AI/ML powered products and foundation models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion a compelling product vision and strategy for Waymo's AV simulator.
• Collaborate with product managers, operations, system engineering and safety experts to define requirements.
• Work with Engineering, Research, Systems Engineering, Safety, and Operations to gather requirements and align roadmaps.
