Job summary

Gusto is hiring a Senior Manager to lead our Group Fulfillment operation within Benefits Services. This is a senior people-leader role - You'll lead a team of managers and the individual contributors who report to them, accountable for delivering benefits accurately and on time for the small businesses who trust Gusto with their team's health coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience with multiple leaders reporting to you.
• Track record of setting operational strategy and owning budgets.
• Experience using AI to redesign workflows and improve accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-5 managers and ~40 specialists with structured cadences and reviews.
• Coach leaders to drive change and own the rationale behind it.
• Develop leaders with calibration, performance reviews, and evidence-based standards.
• Set operational objectives, policies, and work plans for Group Fulfillment.
• Deliver timeliness and accuracy standards for benefits fulfillment and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Set the AI vision and automation roadmap for the group and coach AI fluency.
• Own the rationale for changes and run calibrated performance cycles.
