Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of mechanical design experience using CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
• Casting, machine, and painting processes.
• CAD/PLM/ERP knowledge including 2D and 3D CAD, PLM databases, and ERP software.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, such as FEMA.

Responsibilities

• Lead product engineering projects, overseeing design, development, and implementation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely, aligned delivery.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers, fostering skill development.
• Provide SolidWorks or Creo & AutoCAD drawings per requirements, ensuring schedule adherence.
• Generate BOMs and Process Sheets for assigned product lines.
• Provide shop floor engineering support and implement improvements to meet customer and company needs.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers on product design changes and cost reduction ideas.
• Support leadership for Kaizen events, standard work, value stream maps, and safety improvements.
• Develop and maintain manuals, procedures, and ISO-related documentation.
