Product Engineer Mueller Water Products in Decatur, IL is seeking a Product Design Engineer. This role is responsible for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of product design projects within area of assigned responsibility. The role will require application of sound engineering practices in a cost effective manner in order to enhance customer satisfaction and deliver innovative products to market. Must be able to work with customers to define and document requirements, address technical concerns and provide project status. Apply project management skills when leading new product introductions and product enhancements while working closely with Product Managers. Additional Information: Under supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Capable of supporting project teams and ability to lead significant tasks within projects. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. In-depth working experiential knowledge of Project Management techniques and application. Intellect: positive participation and input in problem solving and product design. Development: completed advanced training in required tools, basic understanding of procedures. Written communication: able to articulate project status, issues, recommendations, etc.

Salary/Pay Range: $67,568.00-$92,906.00 The compensation range above reflects a good‑faith estimate of starting base pay for full‑time (40 hours per week) employment as of the date of posting. Individual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the role, professional experience, job‑related skills, achievements, and/or work location. The range listed is only one component of the total compensation package offered to candidates.
