Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Lead Product Designer for Tax Product Development to drive intuitive, human-centered experiences across complex tax products. You will translate strategy into visuals, wireframes, and prototypes while leading design workstreams and collaborating with product, development, and stakeholders.

You will conduct user research, apply insights to improve interfaces, and evolve the design system to ensure accessible, cross-platform experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field is required.
• Eight or more years of experience in product design.
• Strong portfolio showing data-driven and complex product design.
• UX design or Interaction Design certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy into user-centered design solutions.
• Lead design workstreams for products or features.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, flows, prototypes, and visuals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing; apply insights to improve designs.
• Collaborate to evolve design system components, guidelines, and best practices.
• Present concepts to product teams and stakeholders; incorporate feedback.
• Advocate for human-centered design throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support Tax Digital Transformation initiatives through strong design execution.
