Job summary

DraftKings Inc. is seeking a senior design leader to drive end-to-end product design across complex surfaces and platform capabilities. You will collaborate with product, engineering, research, and analytics to shape vision and strategy while delivering scalable, high-quality experiences.

You will mentor designers, evolve design system patterns, and influence roadmap planning in partnership with cross-functional teams. This role is based in Boston and requires navigating ambiguous problem spaces.

Qualifications

Strong fluency in interaction design and product thinking.
Deep knowledge of systems thinking and scalable design systems.
Experience shaping product strategy with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to translate complex problems into structured design solutions.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling to align stakeholders.
Experience mentoring designers and elevating design craft.

Responsibilities

Lead design for complex product surfaces, platform capabilities, or strategic initiatives with broad business and cross-team impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to shape vision and define strategy.
Structure actionable design approaches for ambiguous problem spaces and scalable workflows.
Deliver high-quality design from concept through execution balancing user needs and business goals.
Guide teams in applying design system patterns and reusable interaction models.
Influence product and design direction through storytelling and critique.
Partner with Engineering to understand constraints and tradeoffs for scalable experiences.
Set quality standards, provide detailed feedback, and mentor other designers.
