Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research seeks a Manager, Product Design to scale and mature Product Design as a strategic enterprise capability. The role oversees a design team, partners with Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance, and drives governance and standards for discovery and delivery.

A player‑coach who guides strategy while contributing to hands-on work in high‑priority initiatives. You will shape the design operating model, establish experience principles, and influence executive decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, UX, Product Design or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• 10+ years in Product/UX/Service Design, strategy, or related roles.
• 5+ years leading Product Design teams, driving governance, and maturity.
• Proven executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Design as an enterprise capability aligned to product strategy and governance.
• Set vision, standards, and operating rhythms for interaction design, IA, and experience quality.
• Mentor Designers, build career frameworks, and foster cross‑functional partnership.
• Guide selective hands‑on design work for high‑impact initiatives and workforce development.
• Influence executives with discovery, narratives, and evidence‑based direction.
