Job summary

BrightPlan is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the next generation of our financial wellness experience. This senior IC role combines hands-on design with leadership of design systems and strategic direction for App 2.0 across desktop and mobile.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to define scalable AI-enabled design workflows, ensure accessibility, and maintain strong design judgment while driving adoption and engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant product design experience with shipped work across complex digital products.
• Experience leading end-to-end product design for major features or new products.
• Experience establishing, owning, or evolving a design system in a component-based environment.
• Fluency in Figma or comparable modern design tools.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design for App 2.0 from concept through implementation, including IA, flows, wireframes, prototypes, interactions, and high-fidelity UI.
• Translate product needs and business priorities into intuitive experiences that improve engagement and adoption.
• Design responsive desktop and mobile experiences across form factors with accessibility in mind.
• Establish and evolve the App 2.0 design system, components, tokens, and governance.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design intent translates accurately and reduces design debt.
