About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Product Designer to drive our design process. In this fully remote position, you'll work with our cross-functional teams to build delightful consumer & client-facing products and strengthen our position as a leader in the financial data API.

What You’ll Do

1. Oversee the user experience of our Consumer and Client facing products with product development team, comprised of Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineers
2. Lead various Consumer products including running design sprints to define and explore problems, content mapping, sketching, wireframing, low and high fidelity prototyping, creating design concepts for brainstorming and approval in a timely manner, and leading stakeholder reviews
3. Ship valuable and high-quality work without sacrificing speed
4. Propose and constantly look out for new concepts and ideas
5. Conduct research to develop empathy for our clients & users and advocate for their needs, using data as a tool
6. Stay current on emerging trends in online consumer behavior, technologies, and design
7. Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers, product managers & executive team to continually raise quality standards

Who You Are

1. Passionate about solving product problems while balancing all facets of a user's experience
2. 7+ years of experience in a product design role, preferably with consumer products
3. Ability to review APIs and prototype designs based on APIs and code from design to mockup easily
4. Use research and data to inform your work
5. Identify users and their journeys, keep a pulse on competitors, and iterate to improve the product
6. Drive user research & client feedback sessions to make informed decisions before building
7. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage priorities under tight timeframes
8. Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to incorporate feedback into product design
9. Proficiency in designing for native mobile and web applications, and familiarity with collaboration tools like Figma, Sketch, Github, etc.
10. Be a go-getter, quick learner, and cross-functional collaborator
