Job Summary

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our growing team and help shape the future of our AI-powered customer experience solutions. As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a key role in crafting intuitive, user-centric experiences that drive business impact. You will contribute hands-on to design execution and mentor designers, ensuring the team delivers high-quality work. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define, design, and deliver innovative solutions that elevate user interactions. You will report directly to our Director of Design.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead and oversee multiple product designs from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with business and user needs.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and precision.
  3. Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  4. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that communicate ideas effectively.
  5. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate business objectives into user-centered designs.
  6. Ensure pixel-perfect execution and parity between design and engineering through QA and collaboration with developers.
  7. Advocate for user-centered design principles while balancing technical constraints and business goals.
  8. Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency and scalability across products.
  9. Support automation and tooling improvements to enhance design efficiency.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep proficiency in Figma (components, tokens, shared libraries, branching) and other tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI-driven products or CX industry.
  • Location preference: Portugal, Poland, or South Africa.
