Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in technical or manufacturing field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Product Coordinator, or 3–4 years of quality inspection/rework experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sets-up production tables with required processes and tools.
  • Provides and documents training for associates on production table processes and related work instructions.
  • Maintains component/BOM during the rework activity.
  • Monitors reworks to ensure that they are all performed as written.
  • Assures established production targets are met.
  • Reviews, resolves, and reports quality and process related issues to immediate Supervisor.
  • Reads and understands CSs/A/Rs and wire harness drawings.
  • Reviews production table data and verifies accuracy.
  • Tracks labor hours and allocates rework cost for invoicing.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for Rework Job Set-up, including training operators in rework processes/best practices, and overseeing those operators to ensure proper execution of the rework. Monitors assigned lines to obtain established production and quality targets. Maintains compliance of systems, processes, and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sets-up production tables with required processes and tools
  • Provides and documents training for associates on production table processes and related work instructions
  • Maintains component/BOM during the rework activity
  • Monitors reworks to ensure that they are all performed as written
  • Assures established production targets are met
  • Reviews, resolves, and reports quality and process related issues to immediate Supervisor
  • Reads and understands Concern Studies (CS's)/Authorized Revisions (A/Rs) and wire harness drawings
  • Reviews production table data collected and verifies for accuracy
  • Track labor hours and allocate associated rework cost for Invoice validation (as required)
  • Lead invoice resolution activities with contract resource vendors (as required)
  • Recommends process improvements to management
  • Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
  • Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
  • Supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
  • Supports health and safety policies

Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions

  • Knowledge and application of the following systems: Microsoft Office applications o WMS o ARE/ARS o BEAMS
REQUIREMENTS

Degree Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in technical or manufacturing field preferred.

Certification Requirements: None

Previous Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Product Coordinator, or a minimum of 3 - 4 years of quality inspection/rework experience preferred.

Travel Requirements: As required

Software: Microsoft office applications

On Call Requirements: As required

Physical Requirements: Office position - primarily sedentary. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
