Job summary

Hover is seeking a Senior Product Analytics professional to own the measurements from 3D model to contractor estimates, collaborating with Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Data Science to ground decisions in data.

You will design experiments, define success metrics, and scale our analytics stack (dbt/Snowflake/Hex) to drive product improvements and higher conversion. This hybrid role blends analytics with strategic product impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product analytics, data science, or related role focusing on user behavior and experimentation.
• Expert-level SQL for complex extractions and analyses in evolving data.
• Hands-on ownership of experimentation, including platforms and stats methods.
• Strong familiarity with BI and analytics notebooks (Hex, Mode, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Snowflake, Hex) and product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel).
• Curiosity and hands-on AI experience to accelerate analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

• Define success metrics, design experiments, and evaluate product performance with PMs and engineers.
• Lead experiment design and analysis for A/B tests and quasi-experiments.
• Build self-serve analytics frameworks and stakeholder-ready insights.
• Improve telemetry and run cleaner experiments through analytics platforms.
• Shape the data stack and semantic layer to support product decisions.
