Hover is seeking a Senior Product Analytics professional to own measurement and experimentation for the 3D and Estimates experience. You will work with product and engineering leaders to shape the roadmap, design experiments, and tell stories with data.

You will build analytics frameworks, improve telemetry, and mentor peers while collaborating across product teams in a hybrid SF/NYC setup. Compensation includes equity and a strong base salary.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product analytics, data science, or a related role, focused on user behavior and experimentation.
• Expert‑level SQL for complex extraction and analysis, with real comfort in messy, evolving data.
• Hands‑on ownership of experimentation, including experimentation platforms and statistical methods (A/B testing, causal inference).
• Strong familiarity with BI and analytics notebook environments (Hex, Mode, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Snowflake, Hex) and product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel).
• Curiosity and hands‑on experience using AI to accelerate analysis and surface insights.
• Strong product sense, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define how we measure the flow from 3D model to Estimates, find leaks, and advocate product changes.
• Partner with PMs and Eng Leads to define success metrics, design experiments, and evaluate product performance.
• Lead experiment design and analysis for A/B tests and quasi‑experimental studies, and write the playbook for company‑wide testing.
• Evaluate new 3D experiences as Inspections product evolves, considering system interactions.
• Improve telemetry in Segment and run cleaner experiments through Split.
• Build frameworks to align stakeholders around insights and prioritize work by impact.
• Raise the bar for data‑driven decisions by extending the semantic layer in dbt and Hex Context Guides.
