Job summary

Xometry is seeking a highly analytical Senior Data Scientist (Product Analytics) to drive improvements in product performance and user experience through rigorous testing and data-driven insights. You will design experiments, measure outcomes, and report on cross-surface initiatives including the DFM AI + IQE integration with partner ecosystems.

The role involves collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, ML scientists, and partner teams to ensure data integrity and actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (CS, Math, Stats, Econ, etc.).
• 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization skills.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests.
• SQL is a must; Python and Looker desirable.
• Knowledge of data science concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for leadership audiences.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of product usage, user behavior, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design, implement, and manage A/B tests and other experiments with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
• Analyze experiment results with appropriate statistical methods and provide actionable insights.
• Own measurement and experimentation strategy for integration with partner ecosystem and cross-surface products.
• Define KPIs and robust tracking/reporting for PLM/CAD contexts and marketplace.
• Develop dashboards to visualize experiment results and trends for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and partner teams to implement findings.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to leadership.
