Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Product Analytics) to leverage data, run rigorous experiments, and drive product improvements. You will design metrics, analyze usage patterns, and report insights that shape the roadmap across CAD/PLM integrations and marketplace surfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (CS, CE, Data Analytics, Math, Stats, IS, Econ) or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests.
• Solid understanding of statistical significance and hypothesis testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in a product-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Analytics: analyze product usage, user behavior, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Experimentation Design & Management: design, implement, and manage A/B tests and other experiments with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
• Experimentation Analysis: analyze results with statistical methods and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Integration Measurement: define metrics and instrumentation for embedded DFM AI + IQE integration across CAD/PLM and Xometry surfaces.
• KPI Definition & Tracking: establish KPIs and robust tracking/reporting for PLM/CAD and marketplace contexts.
• Dashboarding & Visualization: build dashboards to visualize results and trends for stakeholders.
• Collaboration: work with product managers, engineers, designers, ML scientists, and partner teams to iterate on findings.
• Data storytelling: communicate insights clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Data integrity: ensure accuracy across cross-system data flows.
