L’Oréal USA, Inc in Florence, KY is seeking a Supervisor - Processing to lead the bulk manufacturing team and ensure timely, compliant production.

You will train processors, enforce GMP, safety, and 5S standards, and collaborate with planners and packaging to guarantee accurate batches.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of processing or operations/laboratory experience.
• Attention to detail with ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Technical abilities and willingness to learn are critical to success.
• Must be technically minded with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and product.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises bulk compounding within the Processing department, resolves issues in a timely manner, ensures adherence to batching procedures, safety procedures and all GMP standards.
• Trains Processors on procedures, production, equipment use and chemical safety affecting the department and facility.
• Reviews and assesses Processor performance and works with them to improve.
• Champions Safety, Quality, 5S and Performance culture on the shop floor.
• Coordinates with Short-term Planners, Packaging, and Pre-Weighing teams to ensure correct batch timing.
• Tracks attendance and handles vacation requests and absences with timely recognition or counseling.
• Provides coverage for other shifts during vacations or unplanned absences.
• Signs off Processor hours for payroll accuracy.
