Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc. is seeking a Lead Processing C7 SW- A Team member at our Southwest City, MO facility. This full-time position supports the supervisor to meet production requirements in line with customer and government expectations.

The role focuses on orienting and mentoring new team members, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a USDA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Orientate new team members to their jobs including basic dress requirements, good manufacturing practices, safety aspects, job assignments and sanitation procedures; mentors others.
• Communicates with team members, supervisors, management, QA and USDA regarding information about the line they work on.
• Completes required written and electronic reports; assists with timekeeping for line/department staff (schedules, breaks).
• Sets up equipment for the line daily for start-up; ensures standards and quality are met; monitors belt speed.
• Ensures daily goals are met and helps set new goals; improves morale and adheres to USDA compliance.
• Participates as a Team member; supports development and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; communicates issues to team leader.
