Job summary

Roskam Foods, a leading contract manufacturer, seeks production staff for its Grand Rapids area facilities. The role focuses on adhering to GMP, HACCP and packaging standards across multiple lines, with training in HACCP and CCPs for the line.

You’ll work with checkweighers, metal detectors, and X-ray equipment, supporting Foreman and Supervisors and training teammates as needed. Flexibility with schedule and strong teamwork are essential, as are following SOPs and SSOPs and maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
• Trained in HACCP and will know designated CCP’s for the line they are working on.
• Acknowledge, understand, and follow GMP principles at all times.
• Must be flexible with schedule and be available as needed.
• Train new/current employees on all equipment with Foreman and Supervisor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
• Maintain proper packaging and hygienic standards on the line.
• Operate and monitor equipment including checkweighers, metal detectors and X-ray machines.
• Complete required paperwork for the line with supervision.
• Communicate clearly with Production leadership and other departments.
• Train new or current employees on equipment under supervision.
