Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids area seeks a reliable line operator to join our manufacturing team. You will follow GMP, HACCP, and SOPs, operate packaging lines, and help maintain product quality across shifts.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, completing line paperwork, and training new staff while collaborating with Foreman, Supervisors, and QA. This position offers stability in a growing food production company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and SSOPs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
• Operate and troubleshoot line equipment including checkweigher, metal detectors, and X-Ray machines.
• Complete paperwork for line with supervision from Foreman/Supervisor/QA.
• Keep machine and area clean; inspect equipment before and after runs.
• Train new/current employees on equipment with Foreman and Supervisor oversight.
• Communicate with production leadership and other departments.
• Be flexible with schedule and available as needed.
