Job summary

Danfoss in Ames, Iowa is looking for a candidate to support their factory services team. You will provide technical support in the shipping and receiving areas, monitor processes, and troubleshoot issues related to material flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an AA degree or equivalent plus 6 months of related experience, or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be familiar with MS Office applications like Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis for business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support factory services team with inbound/outbound material flow.
• Monitor and troubleshoot shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Participate and lead daily activity using Root Cause Problem Solving.

Skills

MS Office proficiency

Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)

LEAN principles knowledge

Data collection and analysis

Ability to read electric and hydraulic schematics

Soft skills (proactive, strong communicator)

Education

Minimum AA degree or equivalent

Desire for 4-year technical degree
