Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Site Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Petersburg, VA to provide process, technical and strategic support for the department. You will lead projects, mentor Process Professionals, and coordinate with Vendors and Engineering Firms on cost, quality and schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field with 8+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, lean/Six Sigma experience, and strong communication. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Thorough investigation and systematic problem solving experience required.
• LEAN manufacturing experience and training required.
• Excellent written communication skills and investigative writing required.
• Ability to read, write and understand complex product documentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support for the department and lead projects within cost, quality, and schedule constraints.
• Coach and mentor Process Professionals and communicate with Vendors/Engineering Firms.
• Present project status updates to Senior Management and align with site goals.
• Collaborate with other NN sites to share best practices and drive improvements.
