Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a senior Process Piping Designer to join our Power Generation team across multiple locations, including Greenville, SC and Houston, TX. You will develop piping models, layouts, and deliverables using CAD tools, coordinating with engineers to meet project objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or 10+ years experience), 3D modeling with Hexagon CADWorx/SmartPlant, familiarity with Navisworks, and strong QA/QC and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of post-education experience in design/drafting with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • 3D modeling with Hexagon CADWorx or Hexagon SmartPlant; Navisworks coordination.
  • Strong QA/QC, compliance with codes and regulations; independent work capability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop process piping models and equipment layouts for established sites and construction sites.
  • Use 3D CAD tools and collaborate with engineers to resolve design details with precision.
  • Provide technical guidance, QA checks, and review deliverables for projects of varying scope.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulators, and teams to ensure conformance with standards.
